If your game is crashing repeatedly, reinstalling can sometimes help fix the issue. However, reinstalling should be used as a last resort, and only if the game is crashing consistently.
Important Before You Reinstall
Before uninstalling the game, make sure your progress is linked to your device account. Otherwise, you will lose access to your game progress after reinstalling.
Android: Confirm your game is connected to Google Play Games
iOS: Confirm your game is connected to Game Center
To check this, open your in-game Profile and make sure your account connection shows as LINKED!
Reinstall on Android
Follow these steps:
1. Close the game completely
2. Open your device Settings and go to Apps
3. Find the game in the list and select Uninstall
4. Restart your device
5. Open the Google Play Store, reinstall the game, and launch it
6. Once the game opens, connect to Google Play Games again to restore your progress
Reinstall on iOS
Follow these steps:
1. Close the game completely
2. Find the game icon on your home screen
3. Tap and hold the icon until a menu appears
4. Select Remove App, then confirm Delete App
5. Open the App Store and reinstall the game
6. Launch the game and sign into Game Center to restore your progress
